Gilsinho has spent the last four years impressing for the Japanese side, netting on twenty five occasions in the J-League.
Gilsinho never managed Série A before his departure for the far-east, playing for Paulista, América (SP) and Ituano amongst others.
Corinthians have also completed the capture of free-agent goalkeeper Cássio, previously of Grêmio and PSV. The stopper was called to the National Team under Dunga and at just 24, still represents one of Brazil’s finest young keepers.
