The Catalonian newspaper drew up a list of possible signings Barcelona could make in the coming January transfer window which included the two Brazilians, Thiago Silva and Oscar.
The 2010 Champions League winners had already tried to snap up Silva from Milan over the last summer transfer window, but failed in their attempts after the Italian giants rejected their offer. The Brazilian international currently has a contract with Milan than runs untill the year 2016 and recently stated he intends to stay at Milan and hopes to one day captain the club.
As for Internacionals Oscar, the Catalonian newspaper described the twenty year old as a ‘Brazilian Jewel,’ that knows how to operate down both flanks.
Oscar was also one of the highlights of the Brazilian U20 side that won the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia, scoring a hatrick in the final against Portugal.
