They will face a tough test to do this though with them having to travel to Internacional tonight but Cuca believes the spirit is there to get all three points.
Cuca said: “Naturally, when you are winning games, there is nothing better for us. But that could end, if we don’t concentrate on the match against Internacional.
“The fans have suffered but there suffering is our suffering and that is why we need to continue winning games in an effort to beat the drop.”
Atletico-MG have only won six points on the road this season and are currently sitting in 17th position, but Cuca knows his players are ready for the battle.
Cuca added: “We must do our part to score points because this isn’t just a game, but a fight. Someone always has to lose but we will try hard to make sure it isn’t us.
“The squad do well at picking each other up when they are down and there is a great team spirit to continue.”
