Fernando Giudicelli, the first Brazilian to play for Real Madrid

Long before Canário and Didí were part of the team that would win the fifth consecutive European Cup with Los Blancos, Fernando Giudicelli marked the way for the next generations. In 1935, the midfielder became the first Brazilian to represent Real Madrid.

Although his stay did not last more than a single game, that one appearance with the white shirt was enough to go down in history. In his playing career, Fernando participated in the 1930 World Cup as well as wearing the colors of Fluminense and Vasco da Gama, among others.
