Last Thursday (18), the semifinalists of the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Europa Conference League, two competitions organized by the European entity, were determined.

Different Brazilian players are in the running for these competitions, whose finals will be held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin and at the Agia Sophia in Athens, respectively.

What are the semifinals of each competition?

In the Europa League, the semifinals will be as follows: Roma vs. Bayer Leverkusen and Olympique de Marseille vs. Atalanta.
The first leg matches will take place at the Stadio Olimpico and the Velodrome, and the second leg matches will happen at the BayArena and the Atleti Azzurri d’Italia, respectively.

In the Europa Conference League, the matchups are as follows: Aston Villa vs. Olympiacos and Fiorentina vs. Club Brugge.
The first leg matches will take place at Villa Park and the Artemio Franchi, and the second leg matches will happen at the Georgios Karaiskakis and the Jan Breydel, respectively.

Which Brazilian players are still in both competitions?

In the Europa League, Roma is the only team without any Brazilians in its squad. Bayer Leverkusen, the Bundesliga champion, has the right-back Arthur.

Olympique de Marseille has the forward Luis Henrique, formerly of Botafogo, who scored the penalty that secured their qualification. At Atalanta, there are two: Rafael Tolói (naturalized Italian) and Éderson.

In the Europa Conference League, all teams have Brazilian players. Fiorentina has the right-back Dodô and the midfielder Arthur, Club Brugge has the forward Igor Thiago, Olympiacos has the right-back Rodinei, formerly of Flamengo, and Aston Villa has two Brazilians: the defender Diego Carlos and the midfielder Douglas Luiz.
