Neymar is the biggest transfer of the Saudi Arabia football. He is now a player of Al-Hilal and brings great expectation on what he will show on the field since now.

During his pre-season with Paris Saint-Germain, he showed that he was already able to play a few minute, but coach Jorge Jesus has explained that the Brazilian suffered a minor injury and will not take part in any match action as of now.

“Neymar is an innovative and creative player, he will help us to improve, but he has a slight injury now and I don’t know when he will return. Maybe he will be ready in mid-September,” Jesus said.

Two-year contract and high expectations

Neymar’s move is part of the Saudi Arabia plan to reach even more people worldwide as they have invested a lot of money in big names such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. They’re the top-3 names in the league right now.

The Saudi expect that the three of them, as well as other players, act as ambassadors of the country with the main goal being receiving one World Cup in the next years and also changing the perspective of the international community towards the country.

According to reports from UOL’s Rafael Reis, Neymar does not have any clause that predicts posts on his social media and things like that in order to promote Saudi Arabia. There’s not even a productivity clause, which means that the Brazilian’s payment will not change if he ever wins the Ballon d’Or or conquers big titles with Al-Hilal.

Neymar has a two-year contract which reach a fixed value 320 million euros. He has the possibility of extending it to one more season.
