The coach of the Pre-Olympic Selection, Ramon Menezes, summoned, last Friday (18th), the players who will represent the national team in two friendly matches in September. The two games will be against Morocco’s Under-23 team, both in the city of Fes, in the African country. The first, on the 7th. The other, on the 11th.

The Moroccan team is the current champion of the African Cup of Nations and is already qualified for the Olympics in Paris, next year.

These events represent a stage of preparation for the Pan American Games, in Chile, from October 20th to November 5th, and also aim at the Pre-Olympics, which will be held in January 2024, in Venezuela.

“All these athletes are very intelligent, very well trained, both here in Brazil and abroad. Some of them were my athletes here in the Under 20 playing in Brazilian football and today they are abroad. The most important thing is the understanding between them, when you go into prep with little time to train, that’s key,” said Ramon.
