Thiago Silva has finally made it official: in July, he will return to Fluminense as a free agent. The Brazilian’s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season, and after pondering it for some time, he decided to pack the bags and go back to his boyhood club.

Therefore, the center-back will join the list of Brasileirão footballers who played in the Premier League. While some of them, like his future teammate Marquinhos (on loan at Flu from Arsenal), spent a short time in England, others (like Silva himself) left a mark on English football.

Like Silva, Bernard will also join the Brazilian Serie A in July as he signed a pre-contract agreement with Atlético Mineiro.
