The Conmebol Sudamericana, the second most important continental tournament in South America, has defined its official schedule for the 2024 season, and the key dates for all phases are already set. Six Brazilian clubs will take part in the competition.

2024 Sudamericana: Draw, key dates, final, and more
The continental tournament will determine the matchups for the preliminary phase on December 19, the same date as the 2024 Libertadores draw.
The preliminary phase is scheduled to take place in the first week of March, beginning on 06/03.
- PRELIMINARY PHASE (PHASE 1) – Week of 06/03
The group stage, on the other hand, will be divided into six rounds starting on April 3, 2024, and is set to conclude in the last week of May.
- GROUP STAGE (Matchday 1) – Week of 03/04
- GROUP STAGE (Matchday 2) – Week of 10/04
- GROUP STAGE (Matchday 3) – Week of 24/04
- GROUP STAGE (Matchday 4) – Week of 08/05

Once the group stage is over, a knockout round will be played between group runners-up and teams who finished third in the Libertadores group phase.
- ROUND OF 16 PLAYOFFS (1st LEG) – Week of 17/07
- ROUND OF 16 PLAYOFFS (2nd LEG) – Week of 24/07
The round of 16 will officially begin in August 2024.
- ROUND OF 16 (1st LEG) – Week of 14/08
- ROUND OF 16 (2nd LEG) – Week of 21/08
The quarter-final stage will take place in September.
- QUARTER-FINALS (1st LEG) – Week of 18/09

October will host the hottest matches of the competition, the semi-finals:

To conclude, the grand final of the Conmebol Sudamericana 2024 will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, with the venue yet to be confirmed.
