Pirani, what are your expectations for this game against Inter Miami?
Sharing the field with great players is an honor. I will make the most of it, but I also need to keep my focus to deliver the best possible football. While it’s a pleasurable game, we also need to be careful with their team.

Facing Messi, Suárez, iconic players. What does it mean to you?
Every football player dreams of this, it’s inevitable. Being able to compete in a strong league with great stars is every player’s dream. I am very excited about the opportunity to face Messi and Suárez, but as I said, we are aiming for the result.

Did you play a lot of video games with their Barcelona team?
It’s funny because they were players that I only saw through video games, and now I share the same stage with them (laughs). I am honored and very happy.

How is it having Benteke up front?
He is a great striker, very decisive, and has been in the biggest league in the world for many years. Besides being very professional, he is a very good person. He helps the whole group to grow, especially the young players by sharing his experience.”

What is your relationship like with your teammates?
I am readjusting, getting to know the new coaching staff and the new players who have arrived. Due to being with the national team, I missed the entire preseason, arriving just a week before the start of the MLS season. I like the league because it develops young players very well. I believe I have been improving and will continue to improve when I fit in and bond more with the team this year.

The Fluminense fans have a great affection for you. Were you happy to have been part of the team’s achievements last year?
I have a huge affection for Fluminense, it’s a wonderful team. I follow the club daily, I have created a strong bond with Flu and I am always cheering for them. Without a doubt, they gained a supporter.
