A defense and midfield of legends, but Ronaldinho absent in attack

In goal, it is no surprise that Ronaldo placed Gianluigi Buffon, considered one of the best goalkeepers of all time. In front of him, the defense consists of legends like Cafu, Fabio Cannavaro, Paolo Maldini, and Roberto Carlos. In midfield, the Frenchman Zinedine Zidane stands out alongside icons Diego Maradona and Pelé.

In attack, Ronaldo surrounded himself with the biggest names of today, namely Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. However, it is especially his own choice that stands out, as he selected himself as the star striker of this dream team. Yet, one might have expected to see Ronaldinho included, with whom Ronaldo won the 2002 World Cup.
