Róger Guedes is officialy announced by Qatar’s Al Rayyan

The 26-year-old joins Thiago Mendes and Gabriel Pereira at the club

Former Corinthians number 10, Róger Guedes was announced today (9) at the Qatari side Al Rayyan. The 26-year-old Brazilian will join compatriots Thiago Mendes and Gabriel Pereira at the club.

Guedes has a valid contract for four seasons in a transfer that costed 10 million dollars. Corinthians tried to renew his contract and keep him, but the player’s will was definitive and he asked to leave.

“I really thought about staying, there was a request from Duilio too, he made proposals to me, but it was my desire to go there with my family, I made that decision, I was very happy here, but it was a proposal that I had to think about. I tried to stay for the final game, but the window closes on the 18th, it was a request from them that they want me to go now. Guedes will use the number 96 shirt

Al Rayyan made a series of publications honoring Guedes’ deal with the club. They even used Brazilian singer Gusttavo Lima hit song Balada in one of the videos.
