Striker Rafael Ratão should return to Toulouse"s games next weekend, on Sunday, against Lorient, for Ligue 1. Out of the last two games due to a mild muscle injury, the Brazilian projected his return to the team already aiming to gain pace for the French Cup final, on the 29th, against Nantes.

“Being able to come back at that moment is too important. I had an injury that took me out of some games, but it"s great to be back now, in a very important game to instill confidence, which is against Lorient, then focus on the French Cup final. It is our biggest goal for the season," he said.

Toulouse last won the French Cup in the 1956/57 season. With the chance of winning the title again facing the current champion of the competition, Nantes, Ratão wants Toulouse focused and keeping what has been done so far.

“We know that we made history by reaching the final after so many years. We know have the possibility of being champion, of going down in history. [We have] That feeling when we finish our career, Toulouse will call us to play a festive game, you know? For what we"ve done. I"m sure everything will work out. We are very confident, we have an excellent squad. We are preparing to win this Cup," Ratão envisioned.

“[The secret] It"s to keep doing what we"ve been doing. We don"t have to change. If we reached the final, it"s a result of what we"ve done so far. We have to be focused, it"s a final. But we need to keep working. You can"t change a team that"s winning. We have to keep on working and get into the game with everything. Finals are not played, they are won. So we will do everything to get that title."
