Pia Sundhage leads the second training session of the Women’s National Team in Brisbane

The coach is making final adjustments before the big debut at the World Cup

Yesterday, only four days away from the start of the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, the Women’s National Team was back on the field.

This Thursday (20), coach Pia Sundhage led the team’s second training session at the Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex Training Center in Brisbane (AUS). Only the team warm-up was open to the press.

During training, the coach performed a 5×5 activity in a small field. Soon after, the players were divided into two groups: one of them trained goal kicks and the other, finishing. At the end of training, the athletes performed an attack against defense exercise.

Brazil faces Panama this Monday (24th), at 8 am (Brasília time), at the Hindmarsh Stadium, in Adelaide (AUS). The second challenge will be against France, on the 29th of July at 7 am, in Brisbane. The last duel of the group stage will be against Jamaica, in Melbourne, on the 2nd of August, also at 7am.
