After playing in the last World Cup in Qatar with the Seleção, Pedro seems ready to take a big leap in his career. At 25, the Flamengo striker is enjoying an excellent start to the season, at least individually.

While his team is going through a difficult moment, which resulted in the dismissal of coach Vítor Pereira, Pedro accumulates 14 goals in 15 games. His growth would not go unnoticed in England, as West Ham seem to be interested in him for next season.

West Ham have Pedro in their sights

According to the British outlet Football Insider, West Ham United would be prepared to make an offer for Pedro in the European summer market. However, the “Hammers” must first secure their place in the Premier League this semester.

If they succeed, the team led by David Moyes would go after the Brazilian striker. Last year, the Flamengo star produced 29 goals and 10 assists in 59 games played. West Ham, by contrast, lacked a reliable striker of late: Gianluca Scamacca, Danny Ings and Maxwel Cornet have combined just eight goals this season.
