Nottingham Forest and Saudis join the battle to sign Willian

The race to sign Willian is heating up with interest from Nottingham Forest and Fulham, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Willian, currently out of contract, has received formal offers from both English clubs, while Saudi sides are also closing in on the talented winger. A decision is expected in the coming days.

Nottingham Forest recently made an offer for Willian, who is also considering a proposal from Fulham. After rejecting Fulham’s first offer, the 34-year-old could be a returning to Craven Cottage following a new approach from the club.

Last season, Willian caused a stir on his return to the Premier League, scoring five goals and providing six assists, helping his side perform well as they finished in the top half of the table.

Willian’s impressive pedigree attracts attention, English and Saudi clubs in competition

In addition to English interests, Saudi clubs are also showing interest in Willian. Despite his age, the Brazilian retains great value having won two Premier League titles with Chelsea and one Europa League during his career.

With 70 caps for the Brazilian national team, Willian won the Copa America in 2019 and scored nine goals in international competitions.

Although his season at Arsenal fell short of expectations, Willian regained his form and reputation during his time at Fulham, where he helped the team perform well on their return to the Premier League.
