Cafu, the Brazilian football legend, has raised doubts about the supposed deal between the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and Carlo Ancelotti for the position of Brazil national team manager.

In an interview with TNT Brasil, Cafu questioned the Italian coach’s commitment to the prestigious position. According to him, any coach who has the opportunity to lead a five-time world champion national team should proudly proclaim his desire to take up this challenge.

Cafu is categorical

“Did you hear an interview where he said it would be an honor to coach the Brazilian team? ‘Am I honored to lead the five times world champions? Am I honored to wear the jersey that has given so much pride to 220 million Brazilians?'”, Cafu first questioned.

“What would any coach do first if he signed with the Brazilian National Team? He would tell the world that he will coach the five-time world champion team. We are the only five-time world champion country. It is a matter of pride for anyone to coach the Brazilian National Team. The Brazilian National Team represents so much more than they currently do,” added the legendary Brazilian full-back.

Cafu also expressed his disagreement with the current position of the CBF and its president, stressing the importance and prestige attached to the Brazilian national team.

These doubts and speculations about the possible arrival of Ancelotti at the head of the Seleção add a new chapter to the tumultuous history of Brazilian football. Brazilian fans are eagerly awaiting official confirmation regarding their national team’s future coach.

Either way, Brazil’s coaching position remains one of the most prestigious in the world of football, and the final choice will have a significant impact on the future of the Seleção.
