Brazil National Team announces 23 names for friendly matches against Guinea and Senegal

Ramon Menezes made public the list of players who will play the June friendlies with the Brazilian National Team. The first match will be against Guinea on the 17th of the following month in Barcelona. In the second game, the rival will be Senegal on June 20th and it will be played in Lisbon.

Among the main novelties of the list released by Menezes is the right back Vanderson, the left back of Flamengo Ayrton Lucas, the captain of Fluminense Nino and one of the main figures of Newcastle as Joelinton was throughout the season in the Premier League.

Menezes, who is playing the Under 20 World Cup in Argentina, spoke at a press conference about the news of the senior team squad: “The debuts are explained by what these players are doing in their clubs, showing conditions to wear the shirt of the Seleção”. He also developed that it is not the first time that this has happened since he has to make up the list.

“In the call for the friendly with Morocco (in March), we also did it, giving an opportunity to those who were standing out. Now we call two for each position, with the exception of the goalkeepers, with the criteria that the youngest have the company of those who already have experience in the World Cup”, elaborated the interim coach.
