Balance in another edition? Only the future will bring this answer. However, it is what is speculated for another edition of the Brazilian Championship, with the opening round scheduled for the weekend of April 13th. One of the reasons is the reinforced squads for this year, with big names arriving in Brazilian football.

Becoming champions in 2019 and 2020, Flamengo undoubtedly arrives as one of the strong contenders for the title, considering the squad it possesses, in addition to having Nicolás De La Cruz for 2024 and a more ‘consolidated’ work with coach Tite. Besides the Rubro Negro, another club that did well in the transfer window was Internacional.

Considering the signings made by clubs for this season, we can expect another balanced Brazilian Championship, similar to last year, where despite Botafogo building a lead in the competition, they lost momentum and saw the competition fall into Palmeiras’ hands, who secured the back-to-back title.
