Striker Rick Jhonatan, former Ceará and currently at Bulgaria’s Ludogorets, can complete the mark of 50 games for the European team, this Saturday (5), against Botev, for the fourth round of the Bulgarian Championship. In 49 matches for the team, the Brazilian scored 6 goals and provided 9 assists.

“Arriving and staying in Europe is the challenge for any Brazilian player. The 50 game mark here brings me a lot of satisfaction knowing I’m on the right track. The club gives us the support we need to always give our best. I hope to stay here and keep breaking records”, he said.

Rick arrived at the club in the 2021/22 season, and during this period he won the national championship for the second time, in addition to a Bulgarian Cup. Despite the titles, the player also experienced a difficult phase in the country.

In January of this year, the Brazilian had to undergo surgery after tearing ligaments in his knee during training. Fully recovered, and best of all, playing, the striker speaks of the joy of returning to the pitch.

“I can’t describe the feeling of returning to the pitch, feeling the adrenaline of the game again, and of course, helping my teammates. I want to have an incredible season here and I hope to continue winning titles and bringing joy to the fans, to the club, to everyone who walks by my side”, he concluded.
