Brazil coach Tite says that the time for experimentation is over as Brazil prepare to get their World Cup qualifying campaign under way against Bolivia later this month.
Tite announced a 24-man squad for games against Bolivia and Peru and Tite says it is time for his team to take shape after a period of friendlies since last summer’s Copa America.
"There is a moment when you open up a bigger situation, and another when you know the players who are in the best condition. High-level football must be solid and have a result.
"Now these situations are closed, with less opportunities [to experiment with the team]. This opportunity is in the clubs now, play well there and you can come here.
"I hope that all high level athletes – and I don't say that in a demagogic way – are at their best and that I have to answer 300 questions about why I picked one and not the other.
"I want to be in a ‘tight skirt’ [tough situation] all the time, that everyone has a high bar, including Neymar."
