Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson says that his compatriot Alisson is the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment.
Ederson currently plays second fiddle to Alisson at international level and the City goalkeeper says he understands that the competition for the spot is as though as it can be.
Alisson is injured for Brazil’s friendlies against Colombia and Peru in the next few days and Ederson will play in his stead.
“I think me, Alisson and Ter Stegen are the best at the moment, but I see Alisson in front. He had a great season, won the Champions League and the Copa America too.
“I am very happy that there are two Brazilian goalkeepers playing at this level. Colombia will be a difficult game and I hope that the players that get an opportunity play well.”
