Roma Sporting Director Monchi says the club have yet to receive any offers for widely regarded Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson this summer, but admits that the player is not unsellable.

Alisson, currently on World Cup duty with Brazil, has been linked heavily with Champions League winners Real Madrid and Premier League side Liverpool in recent months. Monchi says there are likely to be no developments while Brazil are still in the World Cup.

"As of now we’ve had no offers for Alisson," he said at the presentation of new signing Javier Pastore.

"All I think about is waiting for the World Cup to finish, but hopefully for Brazil that’s as late as possible, then he can rest, come here, and train with his teammates. I want to make it clear: as of now no offer has arrived.

"If you asked me about [Patrick] Schick I’d say the same thing, I’ve read so much but no offer has come in. That’s the reality, and I have to work with reality. There’s no such thing anywhere in the world as an unsellable player.

"The perfect answer would be to say that he’s unsellable, but I can’t say that because such a player doesn’t exist. There is no team in the world that can talk about unsellable players."
