Neymar says that he already feels at home at new club Paris Saint Germain, following his exceptional debut against Guingamp on Sunday evening. The Brazilian joined the Parisian club in a world record £198m deal recently.
Making his Ligue 1 debut, Neymar set up a goal for Edinson Cavani and then helped himself to a goal as PSG ran out 3-0 winners, preserving their 100% start to Ligue 1.
Speaking after the game, Neymar said he already feels very comfortable with the more central role he has been given by boss Unai Emery, “I feel very happy for the first game, first goal, first win. I felt very good on the field, very happy.
“The position is practically the same, of course I looked for more ball, more to movement inside into central areas, our coach likes that. But I felt very comfortable.
“Of course, in communication, we still have a bit to do, we need to get to know each other better, that comes with time and with games. I already feel at home here, very comfortable.”
