GABRIEL JESUS’ AGENT DENIES INTER MILAN LINKS
Gabriel Jesus has only played 5 games for Manchester City, but his agent has been compelled to distance the 19 year old from a move to Inter Milan in the near future. Inter President Massimo Moratti declared his admiration for the player earlier this week.
Inter are backed by the Suning Holdings Group, who are expected to inject a huge amount of money into the club in the coming months. Some throwaway comments from Moratti sparked whispers that Inter might test City’s resolve for the teenage striker.
Moratti told Sky Italia, “Messi would be a dream, but it’s hard to buy him. and Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus has made me fall in love with football again. You need that new kind of player who gives passion to the game and he’s the type of player who you need to have.”
However, Jesus’ agent Cristiano Simões quickly quashed any rumours, “Moratti is an important personality and we are honoured by his words, but there is no chance of Gabriel joining Inter in the near future.
“He has chosen Manchester City, is very happy in the club and we are happy with his performances in England. He is focused only on Manchester City, he is doing a great job with Guardiola and wants him to return from injury as quickly as possible.”
