Santos have received a second official proposal for young striker Gabigol, who’s currently with the Brazilian national team for the Olympic Games.
On Friday, Inter Milan, sent an official proposal of €25 million to the Vila Belmiro, and this exceeds Juventus’ €20 million bid. As in negotiations with Juventus, the Brazilian club would get €18 million from the total transfer fee, according to an exit-clause in the 19-year-old forward’s contract, which requires Santos to release him for this value. The information was revealed by Lance! and Brazilian journalist Paulo Vinícius Coelho. Before making the proposal, Gabigol’s father, Valdemír and agent Wagner Ribeiro had meetings with a representative of Inter Milan. The offer pleased Gabigol, who himself holds 40% of the economic rights, and would receive €7 million.
