Porto accepted a proposal involving the payment of €6 million and the sale of 50% economic rights of defender Lucão and left-back Inácio. According to members of the board of São Paulo, the completion of the deal only lacks signatures of the parties involved. São Paulo had made a new proposal to Porto after seeing the initial €5 million bid get refused. The Brazilian club’s executive director Gustavo Vieira de Oliveira, who was in Portugal, personally negotiated with the board of Porto. Before forwarding the agreement involving the transfer of players, Porto had requested €8 million to release the defender.
