Brazil boss Dunga says that Liverpool schemer Philippe Coutinho is taking full advantage of his opportunity with Brazil at the Copa América. Coutinho has been in and out of Dunga’s Brazil squads over the last two years, but has taken a starting role from the left hand side during the Copa.

The Liverpool man hit a hat-trick against Haiti on Wednesday night, drawing effusive praise from Dunga, “Coutinho is taking advantage of his opportunity. He has been following us,” Dunga told reporters.

“Every game and every practice his confidence is growing. We talked with him for him to be the Coutinho of Liverpool, dictate play, lead and take risks.”

Coutinho himself spoke about keeping his place in the team, having taken a role on the left hand side after Douglas Costs was injured in the build up to the tournament, “It is very nice to have the chance to score these goals and, God willing, I want to keep this going.”
