Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato will not be stating at Chelsea beyond the summer, but should continue in English football.
According to the information from Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade, agent Kia Joorabchian, who’s influential in the Premier League, is already trying to take the striker to Tottenham or West Ham United. Pato still has a great chance to continue in English football next season, although he’s outside the plans of the Blues. Kia Joorabchian, a former partner of Corinthians, is using his strong influence behind the scenes of the Premier League to negotiate the attacker, and have already contacted Tottenham and West Ham. Pato, whose contract with Corinthians runs out at the end of this year, can sign a pre-contract with any team from July and then leave for free in January 2017. Kia is working, so that Pato’s future team can disburse a small financial compensation to Corinthians, or even allow the Brazilian side to keep 5% or 10% of his economic rights. Remember that Corinthians, who bought him from Milan for a club-record transfer fee, owns 60% rights of the player, while the remaining 40% is held by Pato himself.
