Barcelona have highlighted on their website about Brazilian legend Zico’s visit to the club’s Camp Nou stadium this week.
In an interview with the club’s official website, the former player was keen to praise his compatriot Neymar and said it would be of no surprise if the current captain of the Seleção was already voted the best player in the world. Zico also praised Barça’s MSN trio and believes Messi is beginning to rise above the level of footballing legends like Pelé, Garrincha, Cruyff, Beckenbauer and Maradona. He said: “It would not be surprising at all if Neymar was named the best player in the world. The trident is fantastic because they play as a team and suit each other perfectly. Messi is starting to surpass the level of Pelé, Garrincha, Cruyff, Beckenbauer and Maradona.”
About Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League last-16 tie between the Catalans and Arsenal, the former player said Barça enters as favourites in both legs.
