On Wednesday, CONMEBOL announced the pots and seeding for Sunday"s Copa America Centenário draw in New York City.
Brazil will be in pot 1 alongside the United States, Mexico and Argentina. Dunga"s men may face defending champions Chile or Luis Suárez"s Uruguay in the group stages of the competition, which will be held in USA between 3rd and 26th June. Chile and Uruguay were allocated in pot 2 next to Ecuador and Colombia. The draw for the group stages of the tournament will take place on Sunday evening. Pot 3 includes Costa Rica, Haiti, Jamaica and Panama, while the remaining CONMEBOL teams [Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela] are in Pot 4. Before the Copa América Centenário, the Brazilians have to play two games in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. On March 25, Seleção takes on Uruguay in Recife, and then face Paraguay in Asunción four days later.
