The Argentine was crowned the best player in the world for a record fifth time, after receiving 41.33% of the votes. 27.76% of votes went to Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar came third with 7.86%
The Brazilian won five titles with Barcelona in 2015; La Liga, Copa del Rey, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. Neymar said: “I hoped [to come second]. But now it is over. We have another season and have to do everything again and work a little harder to get back in the top-3."
