Brazilian national team goalkeeper Álisson is leaving Internacional, after accepting an offer from AS Roma and now awaits his club to reslove details with the Italian side before officially announcing a deal.
According to multiple media outlets in Brazil, Internacional, who owns 50% of the player’s economic rights, will receive €5 million for their share. According to ESPN Brasil, the 23-year-old has been talking to Roma since the end of August, but Internacional rejected an offer, despite his desire to be transferred to Italy. Sources close to the Brazilian team, the transfer will be finalized in the coming days. Inter have been trying to renew the goalkeeper’s contract for almost a year, but Álisson wasn’t pleased with the proposals. It’s worth remembering that Álisson earns one of the lowest salaries at the club; nearly €12,000 per-month.
Alisson had a contract until 2016 November, but Internacional were forced to sell him to prevent a free transfer.
