Corinthians president Roberto de Andrade is planning for the 2016 season, and much of the amount from player sales will be reinvested in strengthening the squad.
According to UOL Esporte, the club believe in the sale of forward Alexandre Pato in January, and football manager Edu Gaspar has been traveling in Europe since last week. The report states that, people familiar with the attacker knows Pato is one of the options considered by Barcelona for the January market. Corinthians have made it clear that the asking price of Pato is €20 million.
The club denies rumours about interest from Europe in defender Gil, but confirms that there have been enquiries for Felipe, especially from Italy. According to superintendent of football Andrés Sanchez, Colombian forward Mendoza,  currently on loan in India, will be sold for €3.5m.
The list of strikers for next year is kept secret by the club, but it is certain that Carlos Tévez was their first choice. However, they’ve been told during recent contacts that Tévez intends to stay at Boca Juniors. Another option is Figueirense striker Clayton who’s also attracting interest from Russian clubs.
