Juventus left-back Alex Sandro has found it difficult to earn a regular place in the club’s XI, but insists he’s trying to improve.
The Brazilian was bought from FC Porto last summer for a reported transfer fee of €26 million, and the player says he doesn’t care about the price tag. Alex Sandro is competing with former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra for a place in the Juventus starting XI, but is honoured to learn from the Frenchman. He told Sky Sport Italia: “I don’t care about how much I cost, I’m working to improve day by day, both in defence and in attack. I’m still developing. I’m training with great players here, such as Evra, whose career I’ve followed since he played for Manchester United. I’m a big fan of his and it’s an honour to work alongside him.”
