Fluminense are without a win in their last 7 fixtures, losing six and taking just one point out of it. In addition, they’ve lost 9 of the previous 12 games and this poor record was enough for the president to terminate Enderson’s contract. Fluminense were in contention for a place in the Copa Libertadores, but the poor run of games puts them 11th in the Brasileirão table. Siemsen said: “I came here to communicate the termination of the contract of Enderson and the coaching staff that came with him. I want to thank the dedication. Today, in the first-half we were good.
