Atlético Mineiro have reportedly joined the hunt for River Plate central midfielder Carlos Andrés Sánchez.
Nelson Orrico, agent of the Uruguayan, who was part of the River side that beat Tigres last week to lift the Copa Libertadores, told O Tempo that no formal offer has been received from Galo, but that a move to Minas Gerais would suit his client.
Orrico said: “Sánchez has received proposals from European clubs, from Brazilian clubs and also from Mexico and the Middle East.”
He added: “Atlético are a big team in Brazil and Sánchez could easily continue his career in Belo Horizonte.”
