Liverpool’s new signing Roberto Firmino has been included in UEFA’s list of the 35 best players in Europe.
The list was comprised by journalists from countries who are among UEFA’s 54 member associations. Players with the most votes were put higher up on the list. Firmino was ranked as the 28th best player in Europe.
Firmino was in fact one of only four Premier League players in the list. The others were Eden Hazard, Alexis Sanchez and Nemanja Matic.
Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo make up the top three positions. There is only one other Brazilian among all the players, Barcelona’s Neymar being in fifth.
