Ronaldinho today received a warm welcome on his return to his hometown of Porto Alegre. The Brazilian playmaker, who came through the ranks of local side Grêmio, will play against their rivals Internacional this evening, this time in the shirt of Fluminense.

Smiling as ever, Ronnie did not hesitate to sign numerous autographs and pose for photographs at the city’s airport. The former World Player of the year will be hoping to score his first goal for his new club tonight against an Inter team reeling from Sunday’s 5-0 derby defeat to Grêmio, with third-placed Flu seeking to close the gap on top-two Atlético Mineiro and Corinthains.
