Douglas Costa put in an impressive performance for his new club yesterday as Bayern Munich beat Real Madrid 1-0 in the final of the Audi Cup.
The ex-Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder provided an assist for Robert Lewandowsky’s winning goal and boss Pep Guardiola was quick to praise his new charge.
He said: [Douglas Costa] is very strong in one against one or one against two or even in one against three situations. With players like Douglas Costa, Lewandowsky, Muller and others will themselves improve."
