Striker Neymar will play in his first ever poker tournament this Sunday at the Anhembi in Sao Paulo. For the first time, the Brazilian star will play in a competition, with the funds raised to be donated to the Neymar institute, which takes care of young children in Brazil.
“I’ve played tournaments but never like this,” he said. “We will be filmed, in front of the whole world. My legs are going to shake and my heart will beat stronger. It’ll be fun. Playing football is easier than a game of poker. I have already begun my concentration for the tournament.”
The Seleção captain will leave Brazil on Monday to return to Barcelona and join Luis Enrique’s squad.
