Brazil Under-20s playmaker Boschilia says he wants to help restore his nation’s image after the failure of the 2014 World Cup, as his side prepare to take on Serbia in tomorrow’s Under-20 World Cup final.

The 19-year-old Sāo Paulo midfielder told FIFA.com: “We are here to win this tournament. And we are ready to do anything to achieve that. We try to improve the image of Brazilian football. After what happened during the 2014 World Cup, respect for the players of Brazil is not really the same. We want to show the world that we are still capable of winning. We had players like Pele, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. Today, the new generation has arrived.”
