The Under 20 World Cup kicks off in just under two weeks time and Brazil manager Alexandre Gallo has been forced to make changes to his 23 man squad.

The latest re-shuffle has seen Malcom join the squad after fellow striker Kenedy had to withdraw. The Fluminense player complained of stomach pains and it has been found he has an inflamed appendix. The 19 year will now have surgery on the problem.

Corinthians player Malcom will now be relishing the opportunity after being given an unexpected chance. Brazil’s first match in the competition is against Nigeria on June 1st.
