Brazilian striker Robinho has rescinded his Milan contract and is now free to join another club, which will almost certainly be Santos.
The Brazilian is on loan to Santos, with the deal set to expire at the end of the Italian season. Robinho has enjoyed a relatively successful return at his boyhood club this season, winning the Campeonato Paulista earlier this month. Modesto Roma, president of the Brazilian side, has been in Milan this week to try and finalise a permanent deal, and Globo Esporte reveals that the 31-year-old’s contract has now been cancelled.
