Brazil’s friendly with Mexico on June 7 will take place at Allianz Parque in São Paulo as part of their preparations for the Copa América.

The Seleção will meet Mexico in their penultimate warm-up match at the home of Palmeiras, whose stadium was opened in 2014 and holds over 43,000 spectators. Venancio Castro, executive director of AEG Facilities Brasil said: “We are thrilled to host the national team’s first match in Brazil on the road to the 2018 World Cup. Allianz Parque is the perfect venue and will provide a spectacular setting for these two storied teams. We have enjoyed working with both Pitch International and the CBF to bring this match to Allianz Parque and are certain that with Brazil’s recent strong performances against France and Chile that demand will be extremely high.”
