Chelsea are planning a summer bid for Atlético Madrid defender Miranda according to the Daily Mail.
The Blues’ technical director Michael Emenalo reportedly travelled to Spain to watch the Brazil international in action against Malaga on Saturday.
Miranda has just one year left on his contract in Madrid and his club may be happy to cash in on him this summer rather than risk him leaving on a free transfer when it runs out.
