Filipe Luís has dismissed recent rumours linking him with a move back to Atletico Madrid by stating his desire to stay at Chelsea.
Luís has struggled to break his way into the Atletico team and become a regular first team starter. Newspaper talk in Spain suggested he was going to make the move back this summer but the 29 year old put the record straight.
“When I arrived here in Chelsea, I signed a three-year contract, which I want to fulfill,” Luís told Globo Esporte. “We are doing fantastic, the team was champion of the League Cup and has the possibility of being champion of the Premier League, which is more important to me. I do not think at the time of speculation, nothing of it. My head is completely with Chelsea for this season’s finale.”
