The British press are reporting that Chelsea have made a £22 Million bid for
Carlos Tevez. Tevez who has returned to Argentina with a knee injury is
believed to have agreed personal terms at the Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho met
him last week.
Corinthians have denied any reports of Tevez leaving but with Chelsea offering
so much money and Roman Abramovich’s contacts with MSI a deal looks more and
more likely.
Tevez was allegedly impressed by Mourinho and his plans for Chelsea and has
rejected interest from Inter Milan in favour of the move to London, both
parties are hoping the deal will be signed before he joins up with the
Argentinean World Cup squad.
