Eric Abidal has urged Barcelona to renew Dani Alves’ contract as soon as possible.
30 year old Dani Alves is out of contract in July and fans are giving significant support to him in his pursuit of a new deal. The right back is still a regular starter and has played 20 games in all competitions this year.
“Barca have to renew with Alves because there is no other right back who is better,” said former Barcelona player Abidal,” You hold on to your best otherwise he will go to another team.”
Eric Abidal is due to return to Barcelona this year to start coaching the youth teams.
