Chelsea have reprtedly joined the race for Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva.
The 21-year-old is said to be attracting the attention of La Liga giants Real Madrid, and the Premier League leaders have now also turned their attention to the youngster, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Speaking earlier this month, former Real Madrid forward Julio Baptista urged Los Blancos to sign his compatriot when speaking to Marca.
‘It would be a wise move [for Real to sign Silva]," he said. ‘From the first day I saw him, I knew he would be a player who would turn heads and I told him so."
It is believed that Cruzeiro hold a value of around £6m for the talented defensive midfielder, who is a part of the Brazil Under-20 side.
